Pasta Cafe

We believe God has been good to us and our hope is that we can pass this blessing on to both locals, and visitors to our town in a safe, warm and friendly environment.
Our aim is to ensure that each one who attends is acknowledged and welcomed with genuine aroha/love. Table talk is encouraged to strengthen whānau and that sense of whānau that goes well beyond immediate family. Laughter and broad smiles are a feature of pasta cafe. Old friendships are reinforced and new ones made.
During the depths of winter we often find people, especially new-comers, struggling to get out and to connect with others; these times of covid and financial pressure is making this even harder – thus Pasta Cafe offers a free meal and welcome.
Over the years Pasta Café has been supported by generous donations from the Church and a number of local businesses and organisations, including Kiwi Harvest. In addition this year we are grateful to the financial support offered by Te Hau Toka Southern Lakes Wellbeing Group. Members of the community and others can also support Pasta Café by offering their time or by donating via Givealittle.
